Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of Health officials during a search of a house in .
A man was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications via the web.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is vital that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
“These types of items being offered, usually online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no guarantee about their safety.
“You just do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health.”
